Madrid

I spent 3 nights in Madrid and unfortunately every where we went we weren't allowed to take pictures 70% of the time. Madrid is a huge city and there is so much to see. I only have a pictures of some of the monuments.

The Palace of the King of Spain from the outside. He doesn't actually live in the palace anymore, he lives in a castle just outside of Madrid. Now it is used as a museum.

The palace view from the inside of the LARGE court.

This wall surrounds the entire palace only all the other archs have gates on them.

The view of Madrid through one side of the archs. This view is from the bottom of the Palace and the Palace has 5 stories.

Another view of the Palace from the inside.

The Prado museum. They had a lot of Bosch paintings and he is one of my favorites. I really liked his work "The Garden of Earthly Delights" The story behind it is very interesting.

Plaza Mayor. The most popular plaza in Madrid.

The Main circle in Madrid.

Arte Renia Sofia museum. 1/4 of the building (which is huge) is dedicated to Picasso, unfortunately while we were there it was closed for remodeling. I wouldn't mind going back to see it.

I would come back to Madrid any day!
